Description
A legalisation or apostille may be required for the recognition of a certified translation abroad.
This re-confirms that the translator is actually registered with the court and is authorised to certify the translation. Please contact the requesting office for more information.
We will be happy to obtain the legalisation or apostille for the translation for you from the competent court.
In addition to the court fee of €29.75 per apostille, we charge an additional one-off fee of €77.35 for our work.
The so-called Hague Apostille is a standardised form of legalisation and replaces legalisation for countries that have joined the Hague Convention of 5 October 1961.
Information on the necessity of apostilles and legalisations can also be found on the a href=”https://www.auswaertiges-amt.de/de/service/konsularinfo/internationaler-urkundenverkehr”>website of the Federal Foreign Office.
